It has always seemed backwards to me that we go through life having infinite energy at the beginning but very little knowledge, and later, less endurance but much more knowledge. Wouldn’t it be convenient to have our maturity supported proportionately by endurance? It would be awesome if, as we learned more, we gained more energy to apply our knowledge.
But, that is not the way we live and we are all getting older and learning more every day. We, also, were all children once. Even though as adults we know much more than we did as children, there are some things kids will always know better than adults.
Here are some things I knew as a kid:
- I’m going somewhere awesome.
- I’m going to learn all kinds of cool things on my way there.
- Sunshine means, “It’s nice outside, come have an adventure.”
- The world is full of secrets and mysteries and we get to be the detectives.
- Imagination is a key to infinity.
- Magic is possible through imagination.
- Great people came before us and did amazing things for our world. We must do our best to help our world, too.
- I can do anything if I believe I can.
